Dino, Ridgeline Energy Services (RLE.V) -- first of all thanks for the info on that private company.

Ridgeline put out a blockbuster announcement last week where they said they are now going into the water storage business to complement their water treatment business. Their first site for this integrated treatment/storage system will be with EOG at the New Mexico site that they are already working on installing a treatment system. They hope to have the whole integrated treatment/storage system going by next month.

This is tremendous news to say the least, and although the stock has popped a bit on the news, on massive volume, I believe it has a lot further to run. The timing of the release was a bit odd since they are just weeks away from reporting FY 2Q numbers, which I don't expect to be very good, so you would have thought they would have held off putting this big news out until then or shortly thereafter. I think some strategic issues superseded the PR issues though, such as wanting to start getting the word out that Ridgeline was entering this business before the E&P companies locked in their '12 cap ex budgets.

I keep bugging Ridgeline's IR guy about getting in on their next financing like I was able to in the last one but he keeps politely sidestepping that. My hunch at this point is that sometime in the next month or 2 they will do a quick little private placement with just a handful of large strategic institutions with recognizable names (at least to the Canadians), and then in the spring do a much larger public placement by filing a short-form prospectus (or whatever its called).

For some reason the company has yet to get on the OTCQB market, although I believe they have started the process to list there. Maybe they're waiting to get the FY 2Q filing out of the way first.
