Our econometrics were created when corporate profits meant jobs in America, jobs for Americans, not robots, not foreign cheap labor. The "economy" for the man in the street SUCKS, and will only get worse. Those corps are located in the US of A. They are not going like it if there are demonstrations and riots near where they are located. There are strong advantages to being headquartered in the US. There also are strong advantages to using American workers. They need to start balancing out the needs of their bottom line with the needs of the nation in which they work and live. American rulers and oligarchs only react when there is trouble in the streets.
