Kirk, soon banks may charge for getting your cash
from a teller. No joke.

Woody

BTW, the CEO of PNC, the developer of ATMs, was on CNBC
today, and said that the banks 'lost' $6B revenue from the
limit on debit card swipes. Maybe they should recover those
'lost' fees internally, for a change. He cried that interest rates
are zero and they can't make any money. Let me see...
borrow from the FRB at .3%, lend to business and mortgages
at 3%-4%, and pay .1% interest to the 'little guy'. What's the
problem? The only problem is the little guy makes far less than
the banks, and it's the little guy's money they use to profiteer.
And now they want to charge fees to deposit and withdraw your
own money. What service do they provide these days?
It will be cheaper to buy a safe, or bury your money in the back
yard(buy Tupperware stock LOL). No joke.

If I retire to Mississippi, I still have an open Credit Union account
from the USAF, 30 yrs. ago. Retirement is still 6 yrs. away.
