Thanks for the warm welcome! You might wonder why I came barging in like this. I checked out to see if SanDisks products are here in Japan (I've been here for the last 10 years) last night by looking at "Digital Camera" magazine. There are a number of ads for compactflash, from companies like Epson. Japan is way ahead in digital cameras, and they already have a big market. This is a key market to watch, since they also manufacture most of the cameras. I did see the same number of cards for standard PC flash cards also. I check some time at the stores and see what the consumers are actually buying. Good luck.... THC
