maybe, but i doubt it. more than 20 is WAY too rich a price to pay. you seem to be looking at this from the standpoint of where AMTX has been in terms of stock price. well, when it was at those highs, it was DRAMATICALLY overvalued. 20 is great price to get.

now, as for WSTL, the old maid....i dont think so. TI isnt setting up the relationship to be nice. TI wants to sell the C6, and it realizes that the old channels arent going to work with xDSL. so, they need a partner with good relationships with ISPs and Telcos, plus good manufacturing. they get that with WSTL, and so will any possible AMTX suitor. plus, we will get the cash upfront from the deal regardless since it was a part of the AMTX merger agreement.

but... i will tell you this. anyone that pays more for AMTX is a good short candidate.
