Big questions is why big $ preferred Christie to Romney I think this is because they - correctly - saw Christie as the guy most capable of steadying the financial ship. They want someone who can save the goose that lays the golden eggs. Contrary to some fringe beliefs, rich people do better when most people do better, and when the economy is doing better. Romney must be seen by them as the next best choice. We can only hope they are right.
