Absolutely Skeptic,
Also read on the Red Chip report at the research site. And thats why we are so sanguine here because TPRO indeed will enhance their existing core business with y2k and conversely after y2k has been addressed, it will enhance the core business more as a going concern.

Skeptic,

This quote from the conference call is the kind of thing I'm looking for:
<"...the forcing function of Y2K is that the business system people will be awakened to the value of the information that exists at the shop floor level, the control there, and there'll be a lot of work done, we believe, to pull that information up into the business
systems, which is a theme we've been pounding for years and hasn't previously been well received. So the whole Y2K experience is going to open that up dramatically as well."

So, where'd you find this? THE RESEARCH THREAD
Subject 16266

Email with input to make this easier for new investors. I appreciate constructive criticism.

Skeptic,

Thats the reason I told you to read the reasearch thread. It explains
everything much better than I could.

I'd wish you luck but you won't need it here!

RE: Value of information on SI

Most Wall Street research is promotional material intended to support their very lucrative investment banking business. The importance of marginal information is also greatly inflated in order to encourage trading.

You can sometimes find some very good information about what is really going on at a company here on SI that you don't get from Wall Street. Unfortunately, you have to sort through a lot of drivel that is either irrelevant or heavily biased by the poster's self-interest.

Nothing posted here can move a stock. Right or wrong, its Wall Street's views that influence stocks in the short run. If you're a trader, listen to Wall Street. In the long run, earnings are all that matter and that's where the tidbits of solid information found here can have real value to investors.
