Yeah, I remember that was a pretty good movie.

This Ken Burns show is really interesting. Prohibition is a part of our history I have really never known much about other than what my dad told me and from watching the TV series, "The Untouchables".

The town where I live is closely linked to all this history, as at the time the Chicago gangsters came here a lot; but I really don't know that much about it. It is interesting to see how the Prohibition movement evolved. I've just watched the first episode so far, I think it is three 2-hour segments.

Like most of the Ken Burns documentaries, there are a lot of B&W photos & video with narrators reading the script. I found the one on the Civil War to drag in spots but I haven't really noticed that in this one [yet].

They're running on PBS all this week I think.
