Maybe Reid thinks that additional taxes over a million will float better with BOTH sides.
All I'm trying to do is live with reality.
Your points are as valid as mine in a pure world.
I'm quite cynical about politics.

I've always felt that sometimes the far left meets the far right -- pot legalization, for example. But were I a Democrat I'd see which way the worst of the Republicans would vote and I'd definitely vote against that. Sometimes even principles become shy. What's important is making the world a better place -- Republicans, in general, will never do that -- food for thought for any voting Democrat.
