Like the weasels protesting in our cities............they want what they want and they want it now and to hell with everyone else. I've never seen such crybabies in my life. Rack up thousands in personal debt and expect everyone to be sympathetic when they have nothing to show for their stupidity. Their list of demands would be hilarious if it weren't so pathetic.

Democrat Pols: Free Speech Is a Privilege, Not a Right

The contempt in which the liberal ruling class holds our precious constitutional liberties could not be made more clear than in this statement in a report from four New York State Senators (all Democrats, unsurprisingly):

Proponents of a more refined First Amendment argue that this freedom should be treated not as a right but as a privilege — a special entitlement granted by the state on a conditional basis that can be revoked if it is ever abused or maltreated.

At last a way has been found to reconcile the Bill of Rights with authoritarian dictatorship.

As usual when libs make a power grab, it’s for the children. The horrifying proclamation above is from the recently released report “Cyberbullying: A Report on Bullying in a Digital Age” ( PDF) by Jeff Klein, Diane Savino, David Carlucci, and David Valesky. They would like to allow us freedom of speech, but someone might hurt the feelings of a child. Therefore, speech must be limited to what our oligarchical collectivist masters deem appropriate.

No doubt a similar interpretation will be applied to the Second Amendment. The privilege to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, except of course by government authorities, because otherwise a minor might get hurt.

By now it is obvious that the end game of liberalism is totalitarianism. With each passing day, the ratchet moves left as the government grows larger and liberals bolder in their opposition to the principles our country was built on. Resistance won’t get any easier if we put it off for later.

It’s for the children.
