If we try to nationalize the winner, they get lawyers involved. They actually count on the govt. to come in and nationalize the loser - and profit from it. That's what "Fed put" really was, but for much smaller players -g- We just have to keep nationalizing them until everybody blows? -g- Problem: this solution is getting people pissed. Hint: game theory works, they are the losers -g- I guess the solution is for the govt. to go after winners using wicked lawyer tricks. White collar criminal stuff? The other way is to create "think tank" group of financial nuclear scientists in the government working on how to disarm the stuff they created. It was possible with real WMD, why can't it be possible with derivatives? It's pretty obvious if all these financial instruments blow, the World will heat up to 10000 F and life will end. -vbg-
