Let's try again. By moving his factory to China, he's not destroying his demand base. It doesn't work that way.

If the entire American industrial complex moves to China, that still doesn't destroy the base of demand for their products, unless you think they only make products for Americans.

Ok...let me help you a little...we are talking absolutes of course...but the point is still valid...with the loss of the single largest consumer economy in the world, you would see its collapse which would trigger the failure of many economies in countries which depend on that demand, not the least of which is china itself, which would find itself with massive unemployment, same in europe and so on....it's as self defeating a notion as any i can think of.
