<it looks like speculators employed puts on GLW for different reasons. By the close, the stock had seen around 12,000 puts traded -- almost twice its average daily put volume, and more than double the number of GLW calls exchanged. Most popular was the at-the-money November 13 put, which saw around 5,000 contracts cross the tape -- mostly at the bid price, suggesting they were sold. Plus, put open interest at the back-month strike ballooned overnight, confirming our theory of sell-to-open activity. By writing the puts to open, the sellers are expecting GLW to remain north of $13 over the next month or so.>

Looking at the insider activity, the CFO bought a million $ worth after selling $400k worth at higher share prices. Very impressive and I am starting to get bullish on this stock as many on this thread have been.
