Then came the iPod, iPhone and iPad... yeah, we had Walkmans, cell phones and tablets... but Steve Jobs transformed them into magical works of art.

That was his genius......turning plastic and silicon into something very desirable.........almost edible.......like a piece of cake.

That world has lost a genius. While thankful for having experienced his visions, one can only wonder what the next 20 years would have wrought had he lived a life in full....

My cousin, who is an MD, told me once that some doctors believe that we each have so many heartbeats to use up when we are born, and once they are used up, your life is over. Maybe a talented genius like Jobs used up his heartbeats faster than normal.........or maybe he got less than the people who live longer. I guess we'll never know the answer to that one.
