they are going after drinkers next. Maryland just raised the sales tax on Booze/beer/wine to 9% no matter where you buy it, store, restaurant , ball park

In my wife's home town the county had a choice: Take a big slug of money from that tobacco settlement trust fund, add its own money and build a new school that they really didn't need, or lose the slug of money.

They took it and built the school. It doesn't have an auditorium, so they still have to bus the students to the old one.

It is, however, state of the art for the wireless age.
