I'm pretty sure you don't really understand what the tea party is about. The tea party is being portrayed as extremist, but really they are more mainstream than the republican party. The old guard republican party is where you had the religious right. The tea party is simply about stopping the government from growing into every facet of our life and fiscal responsibility. That's all.

The republican party was supposed to be about smaller government and fiscal responsibility, but if you look at the numbers, they were as bad as the democrats with spending. The tea party is just saying "enough is f*cking, enough!"

then just not vote at all.

This is just me, but I can not understand that process.

Many have died for me to have this opportunity. Many more want that opportunity in their own country.

In a perfect world, I'd like to vote FOR somebody, instead of AGAINST. <sigh> and I wish I were prettier, too.

solidify a united Republican base and win the independent vote by having a vision and showing unity.

To me....that's what the Tea party is trying to do. RINO's hate 'em. We don't need more steenkin' RINO's.

I just don't know who you think the Tea Party actually represents. They represent me.
