The President only approves what's recommended by the national security people. As long as we are not doing treasonous acts like Awlaki, we are OK. When I was overseas, I know many Muslim people, and they are good people. I never met those extremists although I read about them in the newspaper. The one thing I am peeved about is that our country bends backwards towards those extremist Islamic group. A Muslim in death row demanding halal food, prepared in certain Islamic tradition that the cow or goat needs to be killed by cutting the neck, and the blood drained in certain ritual type, etc. Give me a break. Could Americans jailed in Iran asks for sirloin steak or pork chops since that's what they are used eating in the states. Did John McCain ask for Main lobster when he was in Hanoi Hilton? And yet, prison officials who have to deal with Muslim inmates state that they try to accommodate their food preference. Have our tolerance and generosity gone too far? As I posted, I support Ron Paul's idea to bring all the troops home and stop being the police of the world. Why would Afghan people fight the Talibans if they know thrave American soldiers are fighting for them? Cancel all those treaties with countries who just rely on American do the dirty works. No more NATO or SEATO or any other TO's. If any country wants our help, they have to pay. Yes, they should bear the lost if they want our soldiers to die for their freedom. Or they can hire blackwater soldiers of fortune to fight against the enemy. Stop making America defending other country's freedom for free. Nothing is FREE in FREEDOM.
