Awhile back, democrat leaning friends of mine told me they watched Jon Stewart (yes, really) for their news, and my reply was it is too bad because you're shortchanging yourselves by not looking at other sources of information. I think they took my advice...........and I think they also realized they were out of the loop........because the last time we were with them, the man of the house told my husband he was reading more on line and becoming more conservative.

I don't recall ever reading about any studies, but I wonder if getting info on line tends to make a person more conservative, more liberal or none of the above?

candidate messages are much more connected and available to voters thanks to the easy and instant distribution the internet provides

I think people are finally getting that.
