Thank you Rick for sharing with us.

It has been a very scary development for years and no national administration paid attention to it. I believe that we may have lost at least two decades, probably three or four decades, technology leading edge and brain power.

Why do I bring up the issue of "brain power"? It was obvious to me that our corporations kept on laying off experienced scientists and engineers, because their salaries are too high, while giving away the know hows to foreigners for exchanging their incentives of cheap taxes and labors. In the mean time, China can afford to pay these experts US salaries, living in China and working for them. These messages are very loud and clear to young people in the US not to study science and engineering any more. This is a disaster for our future and a wholesale surrender. This silent development is even worse then 911, right in front our eyes, IMHO, while WS cheers the brilliant skills of those CEOs. Of course, there are not enough jobs... we destroyed them.
