Your response is exactly the reason my sell signal works so well (when it does) is because the signal occurs exactly where everyone else is "buying the dip," except that the dip gets deeper and deeper... there's a world of difference between a pull back in an up trend and the legitimate beginning of a down trend... my model is designed exactly to detect the difference between the two and issue a sell signal when we no longer have a pull back in an up trend but a real change in trend... visa versa is also true for a buy signal, that occurs just when everyone else is taking on new short positions, but they'll all eventually get squeezed out as the trend higher continues... it always seems that these signals occur "at the worst time," but that's only what we think, the fact is they occur at the most ideal time while everyone is still looking the other way...
