I think I said it here that the ECRI recession call would cause institutional players to want to sell all rallies. That has obviously proven dead wrong. If the ECRI is correct which I still believe will be the case then it seems like we'll have to see the whites of the recession's eyes. If I knew that in advance I wouldn't have blown out of my portfolio at what would have been a perfectly timed short term call option and other stuff until I saw the he big upmove off the Sept 22 retest play out for a while before worrying about a possible recession affect the market. Of course this is just another stupid point that proves hindsight is 20/20.
