I saw three help wanted signs today. Albeit the jobs appear to be minimum wage, and might be left over from the high school kids going back to school, but I have nothing against minimum wage jobs because I worked for minimum wage for a number of yrs before I broke out. Some of these protesters have said they will flat out not work for minimum wage. They are spoiled rotten brats, and if the American people are so stupid and blind they'll fall for the "it's all their fault" meme and re-elect this bozo admin, so be it. They deserve what they get.

We've personally done what needs to be done to protect ourselves against the wolves.

Times are hard, there are very few jobs...

My oldest graduated WSU in 2010 with a degree in business with a focus on hospitality business management. She took at job at the front desk of the Seattle Sheraton (a Starwood property - where she'd wanted to work) and spent a year paying her dues in a low-paying job, putting up with the BS that the public heaps on service employees. She proved her value as an employee and was just promoted to convention sales with a nice raise and increase in responsibility and is on her way.

She has student loans and doesn't bitch about them. She has a job with full benefits that she enjoys in a field that she wanted to work in.

There are jobs out there for folks who want to work and excel at what they do.
