The right outcome happened but it was going to happen either way. What's unfortunate is the method employed weakened Walker and created a national event that could have been avoided. The Banking/Financial industry, of which I've been a part of for over 20 years were given the ability to make bad bets. They made them. They knew better and they played a role in tanking our economy. Were it not for the fed and its desire to calm the storm many of these guys would be in jail right now. These companies are the biggest recipients of welfare in the US. We couldn't let them fail - they knew it - and they took advantage of it.
