So could you be a little more specific about this "path?"

Personally...............I think the man with the best ideas on how to restore our democracy is going to win. Americans love America and what is stands for. They love the idea that if they work hard and act responsibly they can achieve great things. People want that opportunity and they're not going to give that up. Obama is a one term president no matter who is nominated. The people of America don't relate to Obama's socialist utopia.

These are things that happen when a political firestorm happens when a posture is employed that wasn't needed.

These are things that happen when a group that has enjoyed a favored and lucrative position begins to lose power and is willing to grasp at anything to maintain the status quo and prevent change.

Most people on this thread don't agree with my belief that we need to treat lightly when it comes to going on the attack. It's ok that we don't agree. What isn't ok is if we go on the attack and lose the independent vote. My observation that caustic politics could damage our chances of winning the WH could be wrong. That said, if we choose to get ugly and we lose - we all lose big
