No John, you buy just before or at the secondary, sell after the promotion is at its peak, and buy back the stock later after it drops. In the long run, the company will benefit from the secondary: more capital to operate, more exposures to the institutions, and more shares in the float. SOS for me too.

P.S. Are you still in BA? Everytime the analysts give a high recommendation to a stock after some bad news, it means they are buying time to get out. Time to run. Buy BA after 2 or 3 more quarters.
