I think the common thread is being directed by a force seen but understood by few.

They couldn't care less about the common thread's economic life. They are much greedier than that.

The rage is global. From the Tea Party to the Arab Spring to the British riots to the riots in Greece, all part of the same broad current. The common thread, I think, is the failure of hope of a better economic life.
