One of my favorite stories about John Kerry is that during his campaign, when he visited Philadelphia, he came to a cheesesteak joint (rubbing elbows with the folks), and ordered a sandwich. The funny part is that he requested some French cheese which the owners of the joint never heard about. After a moment of embarrassment, his excellency settled for "regular" cheese. History remains silent as to whether he actually ate the sandwich..... :)
