Hi Bart, I think a few thoughts

- we best get into whatever position we intend to enter the storm with, and adopt whichever stance we figure to dive into the tsunami wave by

- the critical issue remain as it had been for awhile, inflation vs deflation, which first?

- the determining factor may well be what the officialdom reaction to the first burning of cities would be. appeasement would lead to inflation, and suppression would kickoff deflation

- I figure appeasement first, followed by suppression as and when appeasement leads to more demonstrations that beget more burning of cities

- the whole sordidness should play out over the next 7-15 years per lost but interesting decade

- the entire situation can be and I believe shall be quite terrifying, because, after a while, even ordinary people's expectations would be reprogrammed to expect the worse then worst, and act progressively, inexorably, accordingly

- universal suffrage democracy is great when there are genocides to act on and colonizations to get away with. Universal suffrage democracy is not typically good when the pie shrinks, hopes fade, and decrepit systems fail

- if we take the tea party chants at face value, and leave the set up of the system as is, then what the tea party takes away woul cause the independent monetary authorities to print double time ;0)

- if we take the occupiers nonsense at face value, then the system crashes down; dire deflation, but tempered by serious inflation of universal debt forgiveness :0)
