When you consider that alcohol is legal, and destroys the body, the brain, and society (in many ways), you really have to wonder how people can have their heads so far up their own asses that they can't see that the illegality of pot is senseless. It's senseless to lock your fellow citizens up (and waste a lot of money caging them) over something so harmless. It's senseless to deny people the salutary effects of the compound- and there are many. And it's senseless to waste our valuable societal proscriptive and punitive power on pot, when we could be spending time on things that really DO destroy society.

I don't get it? Of course you need it.

This is not what we voted for in 08.

At the same time the Republican party is so crazy and dangerous one cannot even give them any thought except to run a populaist campaign to get rid of them.

Dispensaries must shut down in 45 days<<

That's terrible news. I depend on medical marijuana to make it through my chemotherapy cycles. For me, when I'm on chemo, it makes the difference between wanting to live and not. I've tried all the latest anti-nausea drugs, including one that is more than $700 per dose, but they really don't do the trick The pot does.
