This is a very non-simplistic issue. If the choice is between spending that dollar to station a US soldier in foreign land versus giving that dollar for the advancement of knowledge and education, then it does not matter who that recipient is. I ask. "why is it we cannot afford that dollar for education today when we could do so yesterday?" "Will denying that dollar today, fix anything for the future and ensure that in future, the citizen whom we are giving the dollar to instead of the child of the illegal immigrant will continue to get that dollar for h is children, grandchildren etc.?" So yes fix this first by taking care of our citizens first. But don't stop there. Pull our troops back, cut down on our nuclear arsenal program and divert all that to education. This will have a snowball effect in that we will reduce the number of prisons, the members of our judicial system etc. etc. We need a Steve Jobs in the WH, one who has and attitude as well as a vision. Obama has the vision. He needs to get an attitude where he fires people at the slightest hint of a deviation from the principles of Govt. he lays down such as being in bed with political ideologues, the rich etc.
