Hi Mohan & Earlie, I think that shorting CSCO
is similar to shorting HWP. The company is way
too big, and the management is way too smart
for this to be a big winner. I think it makes
a lot more sense to short the weaker sisters (of
course COMS has already made a swan dive). But
GTW is still out there.

Mike

Mohan: How can I be late when I'm ALWAYS too early (g)
Good to hear from you.
Just finished a heavy piece of R&W (research and writing), so going to put the lower paws up for a day or two.
CSCO makes zero sense at these prices, especially with what's happening to the company in Asia. The slow-down in the networking arena is palpable. Will probably join you in near term. The fact that I'm not there yet should be taken as an indication that it's going to tank in the next day or two (and I'll miss it), or that it's REALLY too early (g)
Best, Earlie

Mohan, Cisco looks like it is forming a nice short term head and shoulder formation. I am thinking of shorting this one with some real tight stops. The first on would be if it breaks out to a new high.
