Roger, reread my message. The 73 1/4 trade was just now cancelled. Stock will be reported down 10. I still think you will see bargain hunters emerge.

I just got back on line. I can't believe my (lack of) luck! I had puts on CTXS but had sold short Nov puts a few days ago. Actually I meant to buy back my Nov puts but got too busy at work. And now this!!!!
Is there any chance that ctxs can make a miraculous recovery by Friday so I can cover my damn puts? Oh god this is a painful lesson. I probably should have put in a limit order to cover my short puts automatically at 1.5 or so, especially since I can't watch the market all day. I knew this stock would tank but I was hoping it would have the curtesy to wait till after Friday to do so. Man oh man! Now Yahoo better crash pretty soon or I'm really gonna feel bad.

Roger and all. It is my understanding that it is possible for a company to ask the exchange to temporarily halt the trading of their stock. It is very possible that this is what has occured with CTXS. If this is the case, then this incident and the recent heavy insider selling of CTXS, is making a very strong case that this company is more interested in its stock price than in its business. If they were the ones to ask for the halt, I wonder what reason they invoked. It is possible that they will try to do some damage control before tomorrow's resumption. They probably were caught by surprise by the sharp correction in the stock price that resulted from the CFO's comments.

I am short CTXS and not nearly as nervous as I was before this halt. By the way, most of my quote servers now show 66 1\8 as the closing price.
