Hell.. now they have Hugo Chavez and the Imams in Iran pulling for the OWS crowd..

Do not think the movement will have much legs when they are being publicly supported by such dubious backers..

And that's a shame.. Because it's pretty clear that only public pressure will lead to the reform of Wall St. and it's incestuous relationship with American politics.

Confused and muddled it appears to be. About the only two things that are consistent is that many Earth denizens aren't exactly happy campers, and that "PR" folk and various SIGs are busily trying to spin the occupiers their way - mostly "left wing" folk it seems.

I went to and participated in one for a few hours in a big city near me last Saturday, and spoke with a dozen or two protesters. There were a few from various extremes (one guns/gold/grub guy who looked like Grizzly Adams and needed a shower was particularly "notable"), but most were pretty calm and even decently informed on many issues... and shared an eff the banksters & Fed view that was refreshing.
Cops were there in force, including a SWAT truck, but never got closer than about 50 meters. They seemed content to just watch.

for what its worth:
