I've always thought Apple was smart for delaying products rather than dumping buggy products on their customers.

Seems to me putting out a product that wasn't fully tested was underhanded.

One reason I bought into Apple long term was their willingness to sacrifice short term profits for long term growth. Very few companies are willing to do that and in my case, and apple's case its made both of us a shitload of money.
