Like, recommending AMD cancels BD based on this "one small peice."

This one small piece? You haven't been paying attention. Every benchmark leaked has been a disappointment. They're coming up on 3 years late with more slips than we can count. There's still no formal release date. They made the wrong choice of gate first and the process is broken. They switched to this broken 32nm because they knew they were uncompetitive at 45nm. Every indication is that DullBozer's 8 cores under perform Sandy Bridge's 4 cores at a higher power draw and a 50% larger die on a poor yielding process that's outside of AMD's control. Intel is about to move to Ivy Bridge which will raise the bar still higher in terms of performance and reduced power. You think AMD should come to market with a unmanufacturable, under performing, power sucking, huge die? For what reason? What does AMD stand to gain here? Why has practically everyone running this project been fired?

AMD could redirect those resources into it's other product lines where they have competitive products. The new CEO can break with the past and establish honesty and integrity. AMD can be a viable company once again but not by flushing more resources down the toilet on a failed project.

You don't get it and you never will.

re: premature load of crap

Actually, I would apply that epithet to AMD's CPU.
