Why is a gap down bullish, from a TA standpoint? Thanks in advance.

Can you tell me how you track stocks during the day. It sounds like you do it from work. I use, as I've said to others, Quote.com (which I actually don't want to advertise because it's a very good live Java based charting/ticker source that gets overloaded fairly often already, but others here probably know about it), and sometimes when the Net gets clogged I use either Fidelity's FOX software or Schwabb's version of same for quotes... but I'm visual and like pictures/charts.

Anyway, thanks in advance if you're willing to share what you use.

Regards,

TomLF

I've been lurking from late August and have enjoyed this thread immensely. A belated thank you for some good advice. I managed to cash out of the drillers in good shape through October except for the usual bone head trades and have been sitting with 90% cash until today. About 3pm I bought a group of ten drillers and services with about 30% of my cash hoard and have placed limit orders 20% under todays close with another 30% cash. Given my lack of experience and knowledge I should be buy and holder but I think the volatility of this group makes trading appealing and almost necessary. I got hammered last winter doing nothing and as this is about as compelling a sector as one can find I'm here to learn. Back to the lurkers' corner and thanks again.
