You should have been out there with the rest of the students demonstrating against that immoral Vietnam War. Not likely, I had recently returned to the States after serving proudly with the 313th ASA Battalion, 101st Airborne Division, I enlisted, I didn't need a draft or a lottery to get me to serve and fight, those sorry ass enemies of America saw the business end of my M-16 (I qualified as an expert shot) and my bayonet (which I kept very sharp and often came in "handy") at every opportunity... In a previous war, General Patton once said, "A hero isn't someone who dies for his country, a hero is someone who makes the other poor bastard die for his country." I made it my business to make as many heroes as I could in the shortest amount of time.... I was going to school on the G.I. Bill, I wasn't about to piss away my valuable school time with those uneducated long haired idiots and spoiled brats standing around chanting and holding up misspelled signs... those who protested were failing in their grades and eventually dropped out, how stupid can they be? LOL!!! GZ
