Thanks for the references on Revolution you seem quite well read on the subject.
I doubt though it will come to that in the USA, O. W. S. notwithstanding. The country had one already barely 200 years ago and another isn't likely IMHO. The ows and the tea party gatherings are likely to cause changes as did the ban the bomb marches and anti-war protests of the 60's.

Should I be wrong about the subject, I will not stick around to fight the good fight, for I never understood what was supposed to be glorious about fighting in the first place. No I will vote with my feet and head for calmer waters. It's a big world out there.

It's fair perhaps, to discuss these things on this board as they can and do, affect investments but beyond that, they hold little interest for me personally. As much as people complain and find fault with the States the fact is, it is really a very nice place to live. Has great facilities, enormous resources and allows much freedom, including the right to complain.

So what about gold is it going to break out of this $1,600 range to the upside or downside?
