The trouble USA faces is that it has been consuming its seed corn, by deliberately and systematically wrecking its education regime, replacing it with an enterprise that in effect turn out mostly morons. Morons beget more cretins, and so it goes, then they vote, and get elected, and after that it all goes. Daughter, newly 7, is now finishing up her homework, without supervision, and has been at it for about 70 minutes. She will most likely read 10-15 minutes of her new favorite, book 3 of the Harry potter series, and then nod off to sleep. We shall pause the Harry potter series after book 4, to give daughter time to grow up. We do not tell Erita to do much of anything, but just ask her to try then decide. Son, newly 1, just finished playing with grandparents and auntie, and is now struggling to stay awake without success. Noticing something about jack.
