Many companies and other users of computers will avoid the Y2K problem by replacing old equipment and software with new Y2K compliant equipment and software. Many companies have migrated their old mainfame systems to PC's that use Y2K compliant software. This is not to say that there will not be problems for some. But the end of the world as we now know it ? Personally, I doubt it. However, what action should one take and when should one take such action if one believes the material you reference us to ? P
