Whether you give it to them directly, or they break into your car (getting 10 cents on the dollar) and you give it to them through the insurance company, or you give it to them through the police costs and the further incarceration costs, makes no difference really. Make it legal, give it to them directly, deal with the problem of addiction directly, maybe it reduces the problem. At least an addict could find help instead of hiding in the corner afraid and lost.

Handle it any way you chose. I'm okay with drug cartels having standing armies larger than most countries. I'm okay with hundreds of thousands of people (at 20-40K per year each, out of taxes you and I pay) in jail for victimless crimes (just as victimless as eating disorders or any other obsessive compulsive disorder).

I know, I know, they are bad people, it is just wrong. Even conceding that doesn't make them disappear. Just because you refuse to see how you pay for it now, doesn't mean you don't pay.

It's a free country. Everybody is free to be Brumar89.
