They are conservative Dems which perhaps given how right the Rs have moved, they could be considered moderate Rs<g>..... I read somewhere how they were expected to vote nay and I cannot remember the specifics in the bill that would impel them to do so..... For some reason, it's not bothering me....they knew the bill was DOA and that their individual votes wouldn't change things....they gambled on the side of keeping their jobs... You mean that these folks won in their states because they toed the Republican line? If the answer is yes then why didn't the people vote for the Republican candidate?
