re: How was the consumer served?

It appears AMD served the consumer a hot steamy one this time.

It gives me no pleasure to see AMD's results. The lack of competition is bad for the industry but when the competition is uncompetitive, what can you do? AMD got just about everything they wanted, including a huge influx of cash. What did it do for them? How was the consumer served?

LOL you should have quit while you were ahead.

Obviously, you still don't understand that the fundamental purpose of anti-competition law is to level the playing field, and not to prop up weaker competitors.

If you didn't need to maintain the "Lilly White Innocent Intel" fantasy, you could dispense with the "They Need To Prop Up AMD" and "They're After Intel Because Of Its Great Success" root fictions.
