"but do not attack anyone personally... if you cannot show a courtesy and respect to other posters " Oh I get that GZ, it certainly was not my intention to attack anybody when I said. *"And he was probably a contemporary of your grandfather."* What I meant to convey is that Brigham Young lived not that long ago...heck, he was a contemporary of MY grandfather and probably yours too. I don't see how anybody could possible be offended by the fact that their ancestors were contretemps with Brigham Young.
