I probably agree that Perry didn't show well in the debates, but we have a master debater in the Oval Office now and look what it got us. I want somebody who has real world accomplishments, real world capabilities, and can make hard decisions, not a debater.

Both Bushes were like that, and despite their mistakes in trying to please progressive liberals, I really respect that.

If Perry is the best able to govern the country I don't think he should be dismissed just because debating is not his strong suit.

In the election next November Perry's weakness would put him at a disadvantage against Obama, which is why I don't like debates especially when the questioners are journalists.
