I say that debates are not really debates, they are group press conferences, like group therapy and about as useful.

Bloomberg media used the debates to cream the candidates after the debate, claiming that their research showed this or that.

In other words the debate from Bloomberg News was set up for them to glean information and to refute it if they could. The Bloomberg reporters were gleeful as they commented negatively after the debate.
