Exactly, Cage, and that's why it's also completely impossible for people from dissimilar faiths, backgrounds, views, beliefs, and cultures to live together without ultimately resorting to war with great losses of life.

Multiculturalism is only made possible through artificial means that supply ample food and distractions (i.e., entertainment). When the government is no longer able to ensure that most people are well fed and distracted/entertained, great social unrest will occur, followed by war and an eradication of the side that exhibits the most abrasive deviancy from social norms.

I don't think anyone can predict how much longer the government can keep the "bread and circuses" ruse going, but when it eventually fails, the underlying social issues that are largely masked will come to the surface and war will break out.

Buddhists believe that not one religion satisfies everyone's needs and fully supports other religions. They in no way believe other religions are wrong.
