Almost certainly, CNG powered vehicles will before anything like a hybrid or straight electric will. We're talking about a couple of decades, minimally, and by then, we could easily be energy independent without these government subsidies at a time when we're broke. You really missed the big point though, which is to explain why limit the subsidies at all?
