RE:Am i correct that the clik!T drives being demonstrated are actual working units? Are they external? How large are they compared to the camera? Are they mounted on the camera or do they have a long cord and a belt clip? What other uses of clikT were demonstrated?

1) Yes they are actual working units. like the ones presented the day of the big announcement. clik! disks are very small.

2) Yes they are external units.

3) they are about the size of a shaver similar shape too.

4) they fit into a small docking station. the small docking station uses a cable to connect to the compuer. you carry the small drive with you which connects to your clik! enabled device via a cable.

5) they guy said that eastman kodak was demonstrating the click drive with one of their cameras. i think he said that it already can be connected to any of those digital cameras now on the market.

internals will come later, i was told.

BTW do you think that it can be possible to build a small internal drive in a camera for a zip disk. one guy at the sony booth showed me one of their digital cameras with an internal floppy disk, took my picture, took the floppy from the camera, inserted it into the drive in the computer and upload my picture into their web page so it can be used by me for any purpose i want. send it to friends etc
any way, it looks so easy, and with the 100 MB of a zip disk and being the standard now, it is not a bad idea if it can be done.
