To All,

apparently Morgan Stanley put out a long report on the semi-equips with a four page KLIC review, very upbeat, by Jay Deahna... one person from the blood thread, when I enquired, replied with this:

techstocks.com

does anyone here have access to this report?

Darin

CR ,

If you read through this thread and particularly note the comments by "semi-engineer" you will see that flip chip will NOT impact KLIC to any great extent short term . Re this article and HP / LED;s going to flip chip I do not see that this change will make one iota of difference to KLIC . To my knowledge KLIC are/were not particularly strong in the LED assy area . Anyone with experience within the LED mfg please comment on this.

Such articles unfortunately only cast a picture that flip chip is an immediate threat to wire bond needs , we are a long way from that.
